Copco Lake June 2002

  Friday, June 7th - Wedge, Mark, Lisa, Belves, Dallas & JD arrive in the evening for the 20th anniversary Copco trip. Vegetating in the house by the fireplace.

Saturday, June 8th - Every 5 years we take the group photo at Copco Lake including 1982, 1987, 1992, 1997. Now it's 2002 and it's photo time. Soon after we walk to the dock and cruise around the property. Wedge cooks Wedge Tacos for dinner. We find an old, deteriorated Elmo toy left by Tone in years past.

 		   Sunday, June 9th - Time exposure pictures of the lake and house.

 		   Monday, June 10th - Pictures of very angry ants swarming on a tree. Wedge, JD & Belves hike to Wedge's property on the nearby hilltop. JD & Belves go to the Copco Lake Store and Copco Lake pool. Belves driving the speed boat. Lisa fishing on the dock. JD & Belves hike to the infamous "tree" on the plateau across the lake. This tree stands out on an otherwise even horizon. We want to cut it down some day.

  Tuesday, June 11th - Mark gets a haircut. JD & Belves climb Kirok Mountain. At the top we find intact JD & Tone's sticks (JD's planted in 1994, Tone's in 1998) and Guth's Macintosh floppy disk (2001).

 		   Wednesday, June 12th - Bulls, barns, Mt Shasta and Mark & Lisa glowing.

  Thursday, June 13th - Brutus, Sue and Zutroy arrive. Night time pictures of moon and planets at sunset.

 

  

Friday, June 14th - Wedge's birthday and the continuation of the trip.

Elmo gets hacked up, again. Movie: Elmo and the gopher and another elmo movie.

 

  

The rest of the trip featuring fun with stupid and an unloaded gun.

Not to mention Wedge and the invincible brownie.
