| Credits: I went to Copco lake for the first time around 1972. Since then It has become my favorite place to travel to. My family allowed me to take a friend along when I was about 10. His name was Scott Taylor and he went again in 1977, the year my house burned down. I have no photos from those trips so I chose to mention it here. I later invited friends Scott Williams(1978) Flip (1979-80) and JD (1981 ha ha no mail for you wedge). In 1982 we took the plunge and 6 of us went on a budget of $5 per day per person. How things change. For some reason the trips still happen every year. Almost everyone from that first big trip manages to make it (except Flip because he lives in Texas). We have all been friends so long that we have refered to ourselves as "the group" I built this site, with the occasional help of Tone, for "THE GROUP" JD, DALLAS, BELVES, FLIP, MARK, WEDGE and the many others who have taken copco trips with us. IT'S BEEN REAL FUN BUT CAN SOMEONE ELSE DO THE FUCKING DISHES??!!!!! -WEDGE- |
