This raft was constructed by Wedge and Scott Williams in 1978 (the summer after both of thier houses burned down in the sycamore fire). This raft was very long and lasted for years. It's construction was similar to that of the one wedge built in 1975 in which he fell of the raft on to TREE STUMP and gave himself the Scar that has been with him eversince.
