SAVE COPCO LAKE
KLAMATH DAM RELICENSING

The information below may be out of date, but the plan to remove the dams starting in 2020 is moving forward. Please contact the representatives below with your opposition to the removal.

Pacificorp is in the process of attempting to get the dams on the Klamath River re-licensed by FERC, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Those who are in favor of removing the dams have been very vocal in their opposition to the dams. Property owners, residents and those who use the area for recreation must make their voices heard. If FERC and our legislators only hear negative comments on this project, they will not have an objective view of the situation.

Please write to FERC and our state and federal legislators urging them to support the re-licensing of the Klamath dams. The addresses are enclosed. When writing to FERC, please reference project number P-2082-027 on the first page of your letter.
Thank you.
